Karl Heidelbach / New Realism - Private Collection
Dear Art Lovers,
Customers and Friends
We are pleased to present a collection of seven (7) very notable paintings by the artist Karl Heidelbach.
His work is influenced by his acquaintance with Otto Dix and of the movement “Neuen Sachlichkeit”. He is undoubtedly one of the important early German forerunners of the "New Realism" in the postwar period.
He was represented by renowned galleries (among others: Gallery Dieter Brusberg, Berlin and Galerie Gmurzynska, Cologne). His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, including and honored by public collections.
In the later years, his early success as well as the high prices his works achieved in the 1970s, has been almost forgotten. Today his work is only known to collectors and in expert circles, but in my opinion a very remarkable and not only pecuniary an interesting opportunity.
All works are in excellent condition and at the art and auction market unknown by now. The previous owner acquired all paintings directly from the artist and they remained since then in this private collection only.
Price list is available on request.
Best regards
